Head Coach Simon Amor has moved to plug some of the injury problems suffered by Scottish in recent weeks with three exciting new dual-registered signings set to feature in the squad at Nottingham on Sunday (3pm kick off)
England Under 20 centres Elliot Daly of Wasps and Guy Armitage (brother of England Internationals Steffon and Delon Armitage) from London Irish have come into the centres following Ben MacDougall’s ongoing hamstring problems, and England U18 Number 8 David Sisi, also from London Irish, arrives following the injury picked up by Mark Bright at Plymouth.
All three players promise to add some vitality to a back line that has been stretched in recent weeks.
Amor was grateful to both Wasps and Irish for allowing their players to join Scottish: “All three additions are exciting young players who will add to the overall quality of our squad at a time when we have been hampered slightly by injuries. I want to extend my thanks to the management at both clubs for pushing these moves through, and it demonstrates the excellent relationship we have with other clubs in the London area.”
