London Scottish have named their side for the opening fixture against Jersey Reds in the Premiership Rugby Cup. With eight new faces making their London Scottish debut in the starting fifteen, Joe Gray and Bryan Redpath have used this opening game as a chance to blood new faces. It’s a similar story on the bench with five Exiles will get their first London Scottish caps this weekend when they come off the bench.
Bailey Ransom will make his first run out as captain in the second row alongside, long time London Scottish campaigner Brian Tuilagi. In front of them it’s a whole new front row of George Cave, Garin Lloyd and Ashley Challenger who have all impressed in pre season enough to earn a starting birth in the first game of the year.
In the backline, a new combo of Jonny Law, who will face his old club Jersey, and Alec Lloyd-Seed who will look to steer the ship against the Championship Champions. Another familiar face, Will Brown lies in wait on the bench to face his old Club after helping steer them to the title last season.
