London Scottish are delighted to announce the signing of tighthead prop Osman Dimen. Osman signs for the Exiles after a sting with French Nationale 1 side Stade Olympique Chambery. This return to England ends a two year stint in France where Osman has impressed in one of the most confrontational leagues around.

Osman began his career at Leicester Tigers before moving to Bedford Blues in 2021. He spent two years with the Blues where he gained valuable Championship rugby experience.

Speaking on the news Osman has said “As a Londoner, I wanted to represent a team from my home city that aligned with my ambitions whilst playing a style that I’m suited to, and Scottish was a no brainer; I’ve played with many of the boys already throughout my career.

It is a huge honour to have the opportunity to play for such a historic club. Having grown up playing at the RAG at various instances in my career, it feels like a full circle moment & one I’m grateful for.”

Joe Gray has also commented on the news when he has said “Osman is a real talent in the front row. I expect him to make a big impact up front for us this year, we know how important the scrum and set piece is in this league, Osman should be crucial to our success there.”
