London Scottish would like to make the following statement regarding news events that have surfaced over the last few days.
London Scottish does not condone the comments made by our then Chairman at a Burns Supper in 2018. We did not condone them at the time and we do not condone them today.
He personally apologised for his comments at the time and took action to make amends within our community and the wider LGBTQ+ community.
As a Club, we do not and will not tolerate any language that discriminates or marginalises anyone. We will continue to defend rigorously the rights of all those within our community.
