London Scottish coach James Buckland has named an unchanged squad for the trip to Meadow Lane on Friday evening, 8pm kick-off.
The Athletic Ground outfit take on Nottingham Rugby looking to further boost their play-off hopes following last Saturday’s impressive 25-6 bonus point victory over Cornish Pirates.
Nottingham Rugby are currently tenth in the Greene King IPA Championship but Buckland is wary of their threat after the attritional encounter earlier in the season.
He said: “Back in September we were fortunate to pull away in the second half and the final score was probably slightly harsh on them.
“Miles Mantella scored three tries in the second half but it was all to play for at half-time with nothing between the sides.
“Nottingham are a traditional top four club who are at the wrong end of the table this season.
“They have a talented squad who can play some good rugby.
“Their forward pack put the Bedford Blues under pressure last week, a side we struggled against on New Year’s Day.
“They can beat anyone on their day.”
He continued: “We need to back up the victory over Cornish Pirates.
“After the win over London Welsh at Christmas we let ourselves down against Bedford which saw us slip back down the table.
“We are now back in the play-off positions but with this league being so tight, you need to remain consistent to stay there.”
