Nottingham Rugby have had a strong season to date but have let a few games slip away from them and thus find themselves in 9th position. Owing to the competitiveness of the Championship this season, Nottingham could slip to 10th with a loss on Friday night but could also rise as high as 7th with a five point win. As a result, there is much to fight for, for the midlands-based side.

London Scottish come into their final game of the season off the back of two stunning victories in a row which pull them out of the relegation spot and into 11th. However, they are only a point clear of Richmond and know that a win on Friday night is the only way to guarantee their safety.
With injuries, to Will Simonds, Matt Wilkinson and Austin Wallis, Joe Gray and Bryan Redpath will have to make a number of changes to the side for the final outing of the season.
