Chevvy Pennycook has urged the London Scottish squad to build on their impressive win over Munster ‘A’ in Round One of the British and Irish Cup.
The flanker was relieved that the Scots returned to winning ways, and now visit Aberavon RFC to face the Ospreys on Friday night in Round Two.
“We all really enjoyed the game against Munster and our second half performance was especially pleasing. Our attack looked a look better and we felt we were dangerous whenever we had the ball in that second period.”
He added: “A lot of the younger boys came in and looked very hungry which is exactly what we wanted.”
Pennycook is one of the most experienced players in the London Scottish squad with over 50 appearances for the club, and he admits that they must back up their win over Munster.
“We have to keep building momentum and take it to the Ospreys but also in to the Championship, we have some tough games coming up so we have to be on top of our game.”
The ex-England Under 20's representative has recovered from injury and has now started the last two matches against Jersey and Munster.
“I'm glad to be back playing and it feels great to be back out there so hopefully I can stay injury free and feature as much as possible.”
