PRE-SEASON PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS WORK EXPERIENCE
London Scottish is pleased to offer a 3-month voluntary work experience (June-September) scheme within their Rugby Department assisting with the Performance Analysis and Rugby staff during our 2015 pre-season training camp.
This role would suit a sixth form student or undergraduate student with a strong desire to pursue a career in Performance Analysis in the future.
The student will assist with the current performance analysis provision provided to the London Scottish professional playing squad; whilst also being provided with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a stimulating and supportive learning environment.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS PLACEMENT VACANCY 2015-16
London Scottish is pleased to offer x3 full-time / part-time work-based placements within the Rugby Department assisting with the Performance Analysis and Rugby staff for the full 2015-16 season.
This placement is unpaid (limited expenses can be discussed at interview).
The successful applicant will assist within an experienced multi-disciplinary team to provide the London Scottish with a full range of Performance Analysis support to the professional playing squad whilst being submersed in a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will have access to the following throughout their placement with London Scottish;
– Ongoing mentoring from the club’s senior staff
– Internal & External CPD events, opportunities and courses
– In-depth, in-house and individualised educational CPD programme
– Networking opportunities throughout the placement
– Opportunities to assist the squad on away trips, including overnight stays
– London Scottish kit provision
Essential Criteria
– Currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate study within a relevant subject area
– Seeking placement as part of university endorsed placement scheme (sandwich year or equivalent) or looking to gain experience alongside current study
– Possess strong aspirations to pursue a career in Sports Performance Analysis
– Evidence of up-to-date knowledge of Performance Analysis theory and its practical application within team sport
– Have experience providing performance analysis to athletes, preferably within team sports
Desirable Criteria
– Rugby Coaching Qualifications
– Experience using relevant performance analysis software Certifications
– Competent & confident in the use of desktop productivity programs
