London Scottish are delighted to announce the signing of scrum half Richard Bolt from Aviva Premiership champions, Harlequins.

24 year old Bolt brings plenty of Championship and Premiership rugby experience having previously had spells at Exeter and Bristol before joining Quins last summer. A lively scrum half, Bolt is impressed by the London Scottish brand of rugby and the coaching staff behind it.

Bolt: “London Scottish is clearly a club with a lot of ambition and drive, as you can see from their recent history of promotions. Their style of rugby is similar to Quins and after speaking to Simon Amor, you can see the club has a great coaching set up too.”

Director of Rugby Simon Amor is excited at bringing in a player who has experienced rugby at the top level.

Amor: “Richard brings Premiership level experience to a position we are looking to improve in, but also the level of experience we are looking to bring in across the board. I look forward to welcoming him into the squad and I’m excited at seeing Richard make an impact next season.”
