London Scottish have named their side for the local derby against Ealing Trailfinders on Boxing Day at the Athletic Ground in the Greene King IPA Championship.

The starting line-up features three changes from the team that narrowly lost to Yorkshire Carnegie in the British and Irish Cup, as the Scots look for back-to-back Championship wins for the first time since October.

James Gibbons and Adam Kwasnicki start alongside Matt Shields in the front-row, with Neale Patrick and Will Carrick Smith again starting in the second-row.

Chris Walker replaces Rory Bartle in the back-row, with Mark Bright moving to blindside flanker and Freddie Clarke starting at number eight.

George Horne and Dan Newton continue their half-back pairing, whilst Oli Grove and Robbie Fergusson also start for the second week in a row as a centre partnership.

One change to the back-three sees Jason Harries on the right wing, with Rory Hughes on the left wing and Peter Lydon at full-back.

The Scots are boosted by four front-row options on the bench. Jack Cosgrove, David Cherry, Geoff Cross and Tyrone Moran will look to give their side superiority up front.

Rory Bartle will cover the second and back-row, with Matt Heeks back in the squad as scrum-half back-up. Lee Millar offers another alternative for the back line as he closes in on 50 appearances for Scottish, the Scot will make his 48th cap if he comes on.
