The 2017/18 British & Irish Cup fixtures have been announced following confirmation of the Greene King IPA Championship season, with the Scots drawn alongside Jersey Reds, Yorkshire Carnegie and Dragons Select in Pool Three.
The pool stages will run from 13th October to 20th January, with the campaign getting underway on Saturday 14th when the Scots host the Dragons at the Athletic Ground.
Dave Morris’ side then travel to Yorkshire Carnegie the following weekend, before the middle round of fixtures sees the Scots go back-to-back with Jersey Reds in the lead up to Christmas.
The pool stages conclude in January with a home match against Carnegie on Saturday 13th before ending in Wales against the Dragons on 19/20/21.
Exact kick off times and venues of the away matches will be announced in due course.
Elsewhere, champions Munster A will begin the defence of their title away at Ospreys Select on 13-15 October and are joined by Nottingham and Bedford Blues in Pool 1.
Hartpury College, who have been promoted from National League One to the Greene King IPA Championship, will face Cornish Pirates, Scarlets Select and Ulster A in Pool 5.
Following their relegation from the Premiership, Bristol Rugby return to the British & Irish Cup and have been drawn against Cardiff Blues Select, Doncaster and Leinster A.
In Pool 4 Connacht A take on Rotherham Titans, Richmond and Ealing Trailfinders.
