It was not to be on Friday night as London Scottish came up against a rampant Worcester side who put in a stunning performance at the RAG to rack up a 50-point win against the Exiles.

Returning London Scottish stars, Austin Wallis, Roma Zheng and Ashley Challenger all came back to the RAG looking to show their old Club the quality they have and boy did they show it. Austin Wallis in particular picking up two tries on the night and showing his overall power and carrying ability.

Throughout the eighty minutes, Scottish were second best in most aspects, unable to string possession together and out muscled by a rampant Worcester side who executed near perfectly throughout.

It was a tale of the evening which saw Scottish make key errors at key times gifting Worcester possession. But then Worcester making the most of almost every opportunity, scoring points with every entry and pouncing on the mistake they were gifted.

With 7 tries in the opening forty, Scottish were staring down the barrel at half time. However, the Scots came out with much more fight in the second forty scoring a lovely try through the boot of Harry Sheppard, collected by Noah Ferdinand.

The Exiles could have had a couple more if it wasn’t for the strong manful defence of Worcester who themselves continued to take the chances on offer in the second forty.

Ending 66-7 to the Warriors, Scottish will have to bounce back quick as they travel to Bedford on Friday night!
