London Scottish fell victim to a rampant Doncaster Knights side who ran in six tries to the Exiles one on a sunny Saturday afternoon.
London Scottish started the day with a bang. Forcing a yellow card in the opening minutes before a lovely three phase move saw the Exiles dive in the corner for a fantastic opening try.
Much of the opening quarter saw the Exiles looking to exert pressure but ill discipline and inaccuracy would let Doncaster back into the contest. A break up the middle of the pitch followed by an overthrown line out saw the Knights retake the lead before the break.
Scottish were stunned after the half time break and fell victim to an onslaught from their opponents. Four tries in quick succession all but killed the game and all but ended the game as a contest. Scottish attempted to fight back during the final quarter but again elements of inaccuracy and ill discipline would creep into their game and prevent a comeback.
Scottish travel to Nottingham next week on Friday night as they look to bounce back after a difficult afternoon with a trip to the Midlands.
