London Scottish topped off a turbulent 2025 with a sensational performance at home to down full time opposition in Doncaster at the RAG.

On a windy day in cold conditions London Scottish put in a display that warmed the hearts of fans around the ground and the country. A physical showing that shocked Doncaster and put themselves right back in the mix this season with a massive game ahead against old rival Richmond.

Scottish started on the front foot with good phaseplay and a strong up front display. Working field position in the opening ten minutes to use all fifteen players at the maul for the score. This was quickly followed up by a Sean Kerr penalty a few minutes after.

The rest of the half was an arm wrestle until Ludo Kolade was sin binned for a questionable knock on. Doncaster duly took their three points and looked to twist home their advantage in the final moments of the half.

However, Scottish weathered the storm and took advantage of Doncaster ill discipline to work another opportunity. A short range effort from the maul followed and Scottish went into the break with a 14-point lead.

After the break, Doncaster looked to regain the ascendency with the man advantage but were unable to take their chances. A display plagued by errors would see Scottish grow into the second half. A beautiful break from Josh Bellamy who offloaded to Jonny Law set the hosts three scores clear going into the last 15 minutes.

Sean Kerr would add three more from the boot before Doncaster fired a warning shot. A beautiful long range effort which put worries into the hearts of Scottish fans.

However, the Exiles would control the rest of the game perfectly. So much so they set up one final chance for the bonus point. The forwards did the hard work tying in the defenders to leave Noah Ferdinand wide open in the corner to score the final try on what was a pitch perfect day for the Scots.
