London Scottish can today confirm that scrum-half Ed Hoadley is the latest player to have signed for the club ahead of the 16/17 season.

The 22-year-old has already had spells at other Exile clubs London Irish and London Welsh, and will now look to make an impact on his arrival at the Athletic Ground.

Hoadley worked with Head Coach Peter Richards during his time at London Irish, and the young scrum-half has an exciting battle ahead with Jamie Stevenson for the number nine shirt.

The scrum-half is looking forward to a new challenge with the Scots. “I’m really pleased to have signed for London Scottish and am hugely excited to get started here.”

He continued: “I worked with Pete (Richards) at London Irish for a couple of years, so it’s a great opportunity to further my game and hopefully develop at a club that is going in the right direction.”

Peter Richards is looking forward to coaching Hoadley again. “Ed is a player that we were looking at so it’s great to have him signed for next year.

I’m sure that he can learn plenty from Jamie (Stevenson) and is at the right club to improve as a player.”
