Sir David Reid entertained a group of 10 lively Essex farmers at the Doncaster lunch and game; this was their third visit.

Essex Farmers generously donated £460 to the Club.  They were led by David Rand below who as well as farming, hosts a great days partridge shooting at Hatchpen for London Scottish.
 
The Doncaster visiting Chairman challenged the Essex Farmers to bring 350 next year!  Now there’s a challenge.
 
Sadly, we were well beaten by a good Doncaster side.
 
Sir David provided the farmers with a bottle of 21 year old Glengoyne for their bus home!
