This week we collaborated with Lions Sports Academy to deliver our half term camp. Despite wet and windy weather it was a joy to see over 35 minis and juniors join us at the RAG, running about, learning new skills and enjoying themselves with friends and coaches. Thanks to everyone involved in making the collaboration happen and the camps a great success.

Sad News

It is with great sadness that the Club notes the passing of several more distinguished past players and members. This week we heard former president and ‘Hall of Famer’ Robin Marshall had passed away; a team-mate of the recently departed Iain Laughland and another star of the Club’s stellar days of Sevens rugby in the 1960s. A full obituary will follow. Further losses to the Club include: Logie Bruce Lockhart, Gordon MacKenzie (“Mac”) Wylie, Professor Archie Young and George Shields. Our thoughts and condolences go out to their families, especially at such a time when the pandemic prevents us from paying our full respects at funerals and memorial services.
