Interactive whiteboards to facilitate team training Pioneering technology company Steljes Limited has signed a one-year sponsorship agreement with Richmond based rugby club London Scottish FC, and has become an official Sponsor of the Club and a Partner of its Community and Development Scheme.

Surrey-based Steljes will donate two SMART interactive whiteboards to aid more efficient team training and will work with the club to improve match day family facilities with a new family fan zone and sponsored interactive rugby games. The sponsorship also sees each of the London Scottish Junior teams from the U7s to the U19s proudly sporting a free Steljes branded rugby shirt.

Steljes will also take part in local community events, including educational days with local schools and councils, to showcase its range of interactive technology and demonstrate the latest educational and corporate tools that can improve learning and efficiencies whilst minimising costs.

London Scottish is a world famous Rugby club, and one of the country’s oldest. With new investment and a raft of ex-premiership signings, including former England Sevens Captain Simon Amor, London Scottish is on track to regain its position amongst the country’s rugby elite.

Graham Wylie, marketing director at Steljes, said: “We are very pleased to be associated with London Scottish FC and, in particular, to be able to provide the team’s rising stars with the latest industry-leading technology to improve training sessions. Our experience in providing SMART interactive whiteboards to 60% of the UK’s education sector means that we understand the benefits of interactive learning, and we look forward to sharing this with the local community.”

Nick Evans, General Manager at London Scottish FC, commented: “This is a fantastic and ground breaking sponsorship that will enable London Scottish to develop our community development scheme and family facilities. It is the largest community-based sponsorship outside of the Premiership, providing the club with a match day mascot, free playing kit for all juniors, an interactive family fan zone and an improvement in coaching and with the aid of the SMART whiteboards. All of these initiatives, delivered in partnership with Steljes, are designed to develop the Club from it’s grass roots, grow the local and junior fan base, and provide facilities to develop the Club into one of the country’s elite. It is an exciting sponsorship and we look forward to working closely with the Steljes over the coming months.”
