London Scottish head to Jersey this weekend looking to move a step closer to a place in the Championship’s end of season play-offs.
In the corresponding fixture last season, winger Miles Mantella, pictured above, scored a second half try which sealed a 25-17 victory over the Islanders.
The match at St Peter this Saturday, March 7, kicks-off at 3pm but before this, a London Scottish Vets side takes on Jersey Wanderers at the same venue, 10.15am kick-off.
The squad is built around a core of former Extra Bs players and contains several players whose involvement with Scottish stretches back to the early 1990s, such as Iain Young and Stuart Hall, through to some of a more recent vintage.
The game provides a good opportunity for supporters to sample some fresh air prior to lunch and the Championship clash at 3pm.
On Saturday evening, club member David Guild invites London Scottish supporters to a BBQ at his Jersey residence from 7pm.
