Team News: Mills in charge as Scots look for Redemption

After a very disappointing weekend last week across the channel, London Scottish have made twelve changes to their starting side.

Jonathan Mills will again be Head Coach after filling in for Jake Sharp last week when he had to take a spot on the bench when Ed Hoadley pulled out with illness.

The coaching staff have decided to revert back to many of the players who have played the majority of the year.

Ben Onyeama Christie, Tom Parton and Joe Luca Smith are the only players who remain in the starting side from the 45-10 loss over the channel last weekend.

The Scots have selected a strong forward pack that will be looking to nullify the Jersey set piece which was very successful last week leading to four scores.

Ben Onyeama Christie remains in the front row, Player-Coach Dan George starts at Hooker with Phil Cringle making up the rest of the front row.

James Tyas returns from an ankle injury in the second row and Namibian international Tjiuee Uanivi partners him.

Matt Eliet starts at Number Eight after playing 60 minutes last week when Danny Kenny had to leave the game with a torn hamstring. Chris Walker starts at openside and Kyle Baillie starts on the blindside.

Alex Walker and Jake Sharp will utilise their experience to marshal the Scots around the field from the halfbacks. Ben Mosses will captain the side for the second time from the centres and is partnered by former London Irish player and ever-present this year Ross Neal.

Joe Luca Smith is another player who remains from last week as he is picked on the wing. Tom Parton, who is on loan from London Irish, shifts from fly half to his more favoured position of full back with try-scorer Craig Holland starting on the wing.

Pete Austin, Derrick Appiah and Ewan McQuillin are the front row replacements on the bench. Ed Milne and Joe Atkinson will bring energy and dynamism from the bench. Josh Barton and Alec Coombes, who both played last weekend cover the backs on the bench.
