TEAM NEWS: Scots ready for key Coventry clash

07th March 2019

London Scottish welcome Coventry to the RAG this Friday for the first time since their return to The Championship.

The Scots will be looking to rekindle their early 2019 form as they look to shut the gap between themselves and Coventry.

Head Coach Nic Rouse is able to field his returning loan players, Tom Fowlie, Rory Brand and Tom Griffiths.

50 cap man Jonny Harris keeps his starting role as Billy Harding starts once again. Phil Cringle is James at tighthead. Former Cov player Jimmy Litchfield is among the replacements.

James Tyas returns in the second row and partners Tjiuee Uanivi. The back row is unchanged.

Josh Barton is given a start as Grayson Hart misses out with a knock. Rory Jennings is again at fly half. Jacob Perry is still recovering from injury.

Henari Veratau starts at inside centre and partners dual-registered Saracen Tom Griffiths.

London Irish loanee Tom Fowlie is named on the left wing as Rob Stevenson is named on the right. Charlie Ingall continues at full back after a strong showing against London Irish.

Rory Brand will be looking to replicate the impact he had from the bench last time he played for the Scots against Bedford.
