Two former London Scottish players have been named in the Scotland starting squad for this Saturday’s game versus the USA in Houston, Texas.
This match follows on from last week’s convincing victory over Canada and is the second game in a three match tour.

Turner was loaned by the SRU to London Scottish for over two months in November and December 2016-17 and played 7 games for the Scots.
The other George, Horne, was a fan favourite during his time with London Scottish. He and his brother and fellow International, Pete, will become the 49thset of brothers to play an International for Scotland and the 23rdpair to play in the same Test match.
Horne was lent to Scottish in November 2015 after a stellar Under 20s campaign for Scotland. George went on to make 16 appearances for Scottish scoring one solitary try although he was a constant threat and a handful to defend against.
It’s great to see these two former London Scots doing so well. In other news, Robbie Fergusson was named DHL Impact Player from this weekend’s Paris 7s, another Former London Scot doing so well on International stage, this time in the shortened format of the game.
Scotland Head Coach, Gregor Townsend, said: “We always planned to play as much of the squad as possible on this tour, and we also deliberately picked more Edinburgh players in the first game because their season finished earlier.
“Now we welcome most of the Glasgow Warriors contingent into the team. On top of that there are seven players making their first starts for the country, which is really exciting, and we are looking forward to them going out and grabbing this opportunity.”
