U15s played our annual Charlie Harris Memorial Cup against Keynsham RFC this weekend. It’s our fourth annual match, and we regained the cup after a hard fought match with some inspired play from the whole team, to come away with a win.
The purpose of the match, as ever, is not to take the win but to remember Charlie and remember why we began this ‘Cup’. To promote the importance of positive mental health amongst all our young players. For parents and players alike, it was a great chance to come together and unite, catch up, enjoy some rugby and for the boys – a chance to see who had finally had a growth spurt! Until next year, when we’ll be back in Keynsham!
