As the Aviva Premiership seamlessly replaced the irreplaceable void of the RWC, it was an equally big weekend for the LSFC U8s, who had a three-way fixture with our fierce rivals, London Welsh and Richmond.
Ahead of this week’s London Scottish Festival, it was a great test against two of arguably the finer U8s teams in the country.
As one has grown to expect from our brave hearts, there is no challenge too great!
We had two LSFC teams, with one of the teams drawing its two games, whilst the other team lost by just one point in one of the longest games in U8 history. Both teams were very much experimental sides, but clearly showed that when they take the field this Sunday there will be no team that they will fear.
A big thank you to all the parents and players of all three teams, who made it an enjoyable day of practice, but also who were incredibly respectful throughout the remembrance Sunday service.
