Vacancies Available: Community Coaches

London Scottish is looking to recruit two enthusiastic and talented community coaches to assist the Community Development Manager during the 2016/17 rugby season.

The successful applicants will be needed to assist the Community Development Manager during the week and on occasional weekends (home games).

The experience gained carrying out a variety of coaching related duties and working with a fully professional rugby club will stand the successful applicants in great stead for a career in coaching and sport development.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver regular coaching sessions to children and young people.
  • Assist the with the day to day running of the London Scottish schools and community programme.
  • Assist with rugby camps and other community events, including the 2016 Mini's Festival.
  • Deliver coaching sessions on London Scottish 1st XV home match days.
  • Help increase community outreach and engagement.

Candidates must possess the following key qualities/qualifications:

  • A passion and knowledge of sport, particularly rugby union.
  • A passion and past experience of coaching kids the game of rugby union within both a club and school environment.
  • An up to date and valid DBS check 
  • Hold a minimum of UKCC Level 1 qualification, UKCC Level 2 desirable
  • Full UK drivers licence desirable
