We Will Get Our Performances Right, Says Bright

03rd October 2012

Mark Bright knows London Scottish need to continue their encouraging home form and be able to take these performances with them on the road.

The frustrations with the start to the season are obvious, especially with encouraging performances in home games to date.

Bright: “We seem to play well at home but when we get on that bus, I don’t know, it’s a bit of a nightmare at the moment. You can only look at yourselves in that situation. It’s only a couple of hours on a bus, playing on a similar sized rugby field… it’s just a mental thing really.”

“We need to start picking up some wins, it’s a crucial 4 to 5 week period where we should be looking to win every game.”
Bright has been leading the side in every game so far this season and is loving the role.

“Like Simon said to me, I’m not the big motivational speaker, I’m just a typical Kiwi, laid back and can switch on and off whenever I want. I prefer to lead by example on the pitch. If I need to say something, I’ll say something but we have other experienced players in the side too.”
