London Scottish is delighted to announce the re-signing of fly half Tom Wilstead. The Bristol born out half will remain with the Exiles for his second season at the RAG.
Making 18 appearances for the Club in the last campaign, Tom was a mainstay of the squad. He led the side to victories over Chinnor, Hartpury and Nottingham from fly half as well as contributing to wins against Cambridge and Caldy from the bench.
Speaking on the news Tom has said “I’m grateful for another year with London Scottish after what was a great season just gone. We are a tight group with a special bond and I am looking forward to building on last years foundation. With the revamped Champ league it’s an exciting time to be a part of the club and I am confident this group can achieve something special.”
Director of Rugby Bryan Redpath has commented on his most recent signing when he said “Tom is and intelligent rugby player and leads from the front in everything he does. He’s a passionate individual who wants to grow his game at London Scottish, I’m very excited to have him on board for another year.”
