Young Lions captain Tom Henfrey has earned a call-up to the Netherlands Under-18s squad which will compete at the European Championships in Toulouse.
The loosehead prop flies out to France next week for Holland's opening match of the tournament against Romania on Saturday, March 28.
Henfrey, whose grandmother was Dutch, went over for a trial last October before joining Holland's U18 training camp in November where he played a full 80 minutes in a friendly match against Belgium.
The South East England Counties prop was selected for a final training camp last month, playing in a victory over Germany which earned him a call-up for the U18 European Championships.
Henfrey joined London Scottish when he was five-years-old and currently skippers London Scottish Under-18s, The Junior Academy (Young Lions) and his school side.
Commenting on his international call-up, Tom said: “I am very proud to represent the Netherlands U18 team.
“The skills I have developed at London Scottish over the last 13 years, and in the Junior Academy, have made it possible to achieve this.
“I'm looking forward to the challenge of our first game against Romania and hopefully we can start the tournament off with a win.”
