London Scottish is delighted to announce that young back row Alex Wardell will join London Scottish ahead of the 2024/25 season. The 22 year old back row will link up with the Exiles ahead of pre season and will make an important contribution towards the side.

Joining from Saracens Alex has substantial Championship experience having spent time on loan at fellow tier 2 Club Ampthill. Impressing the Exiles’ coaching staff there Alex will look to push on in West London with London Scottish.

Speaking upon the news of joining the Club Alex has said “London Scottish play an exciting brand of rugby. I can’t wait to get involved and get to know a new group of lads and see where we can get to this season.”

Director of Rugby Bryan Redpath has given his insight to his new signing when said “Alex is an important signing for us. He has Championship and Premiership experience which is always vital but he is also young and keen to develop his game which I expect him to do with us.
