We can today confirm that Peter Austin has signed for London Scottish ahead of the 2017/18 season.
The hooker joined the Army in 2013 after spending five years with London Irish between 2005 and 2010.
Austin featured for England Under 16s and U18s during his earlier years, before moving to New Zealand in 2010 for a year playing for Hawkes Bay.
The 26-year-old has represented the Army on 12 occasions, and has played in four Army v Navy clashes at Twickenham, gaining him valuable experience.
He will face exciting competition with the likes of Dan George and Isaac Miller to secure the number two shirt, with hooker an area of strength for the Scots.
Austin is looking forward to joining the club:
“I’m excited to be a part of London Scottish next season, it will be a new challenge for me as a player and I look forward to developing my rugby and getting into pre-season and meeting the lads.”
