London Scottish is delighted to announce the signing of Ben Mosses from Bristol Rugby for the 2017/18 season.

The centre had been at Ashton Gate for four years but will now head to the Athletic Ground to start a new chapter with the Scots.

Mosses played 91 times for Bristol and scored on 20 occasions, making him a fan-favourite and also a regular in their match-day squad.

The 25-year-old previously represented England at Under 18 level, and also spent three years with the Bath academy before heading to Bristol.

He will look to form an exciting partnership with the likes of Ross Neal and Alec Coombes, giving the Scots some impressive quality in the midfield.

Mosses is excited for a new chapter at the Athletic Ground:

“I'm really looking forward to starting a new challenge with Scottish, meeting all the players and staff in the club and hopefully contributing to a successful season!

I've been really impressed with the signings made already, plus the squad from last year, I feel the club is moving in the right direction, and look forward to working with the coaches and players alike. It's all about getting the hard graft done in pre season and creating relationships within the squad.”

Director of Rugby Dave Morris says this signing is a signal of intent from the Scots:

“Ben brings proven pedigree and experience to our back line. From the footage I have watched and speaking to people who knows Ben’s game well I am very encouraged in what I have seen and heard. He runs good lines and has some great subtle touches with ball in hand but I especially like Ben’s defensive attributes which will be vital for the success of the team.”
