Club news update ahead of Yorkshire Carnegie fixture

30th October 2019

This Friday, we take on Yorkshire Carnegie in the League under the night lights at the RAG, kick off is at 19.45.

Having come away with two points from last weekend’s draw against Ampthill at home, the Scots will be looking to move up the table with a good win against Yorkshire.

In last month’s encounter with Yorkshire Carnegie, we put 50 points past Martyn Woods men in the two sides Cup encounter. Matt Eliet scored a memorable hat-trick and we will be looking to secure the same result this week in the Greene King Championship. The season is gathering momentum and attendance is building; therefore, we look forward to welcoming another great crowd for what is set to be a very entertaining match.

With several Friday night fixtures this side of Christmas we have launched the not to be missed ‘Friday night is Curry Night’ at the RAG. Including a delicious bowl of curry served with favourite sides of rice, poppadoms and mango chutney – plus a jug of beer or an allocation of wine.

We also look forward to hosting our first Ladies Night, with ladies only hospitality tables already filling up, where they receive a complementary glass of Edinburgh Gin or champagne. Post-match the party gets into full swing with a party themed playlist in the RAA Member’s Bar – plus the chance to mingle with the players from both teams. To purchase your tickets, click HERE, and be sure to arrive in the Member’s Bar by 18:30.

Up for grabs this week in the hospitality prize draw are two tickets to the Royal Box at Twickenham Stadium for the Barbarians match against Fiji on Saturday 16th November.

To support the team and the London Scottish brand, the merchandise shop at the ground will be open from 18:30 until 21:30 on game day where you can purchase various top quality items of clothing and accessories. To see what is on offer visit our online store by clicking HERE.

On Friday 8th next week we are away to Gloucestershire to take on Hartpury, kick off is at 7.45pm. The following week we are back at home to take on Cornish Pirates in our final League match before heading back into Cup fixtures. There is a 2 for 1 deal on tickets for this match and tickets are selling fast, so click HERE to purchase.
