Through our partnership with the training provider GDF Consultancy.com Limited we have been working with the Community, providing rugby coaching within schools since the beginning of January 2017.

London Scottish are currently working within eight schools, delivering rugby coaching to over 440 young people.

Some of the London Scottish First Team have been helping out too, Robbie Fergusson, Jamie Stevenson, Harry Sheppard and Ewan Mcquillin have been helping with delivering the rugby sessions in January with the community coaches Kirk Jones, Callum Smith, Calum Digby and Lucas Vexer at The Falcons School. Director of Sport, Chris Shaw and 1st team coach Des Hughes have agreed that the first team lads have had a positive impact on their young men.

All the coaches and some of the first team players will be able to take advantage of GDF Consultancy.com Limited being an approved training provider and the funding opportunities they have to help the players develop themselves either in Activity Leadership, Management and/or professional teaching qualifications.

his will help not only the players and their development but the community department at London Scottish too as they will undertake practical work experience within the community.

We are also looking to promote Super Saturdays with young children being part of the match day experience for the next four games on: 18th February, 4th March, 25th March and 15th April.

Scottish are also running camps from Tuesday 14th Feb – Thursday 16th Feb and the Easter Camp from Tuesday 4th April – Thursday 6th April with May dates to follow shortly.  For those interested please email Kirk at kirkjones@gdfconsultancy.com
