Highlanders Head Coach Ross Doneghan was thrilled to see a number of academy players make their debut for the first team in the British and Irish Cup match against Cardiff.

The debutants made an impressive impact, with scrum-half Josh Barton scoring with just two minutes remaining to level the score. 

“This is a night that they will all remember for a long time and it can only help them to progress further in to their rugby careers.” Said Doneghan.
