Yesterday saw the Game Changers reach the third week of their community programme with London Scottish and Deutsche Bank.
The six-week programme aims to encourage and motivate students, nominated by their schools, due to their vulnerability of being expelled.
They will develop confidence, motivation and social skills through a range of rugby-playing and classroom activities, and learn the key values of the game, which the RFU describe as: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, Sportsmanship.
The students were treated to a pizza-making masterclass at Caffe Mamma in Richmond, before heading back to the Athletic Ground to learn the basics of the contact side of rugby.
There were three workshops, scrums, rucks and line-outs which were giving them an insight, before finishing off with a game of touch.
