London Scottish have completed the signing of Fijian number eight Ifereimi Boladau.
The former Ospreys player featured twice against the Scots in last season’s British and Irish Cup and impressed on both occasions, resulting in the 29-year-old joining the club.
The back-rower spent two seasons with the Welsh region, and has also represented the Army in the annual match against the Navy at Twickenham.
Boladau is thrilled to have signed for the Scots. “I’m very excited to be joining London Scottish and look forward to testing myself in the Championship in what is a very competitive league.”
He added: “The coaching set up and brand of rugby Scottish are looking to play should suit my game and I’m looking to bring some impact and show what I can do”.
Head Coach Peter Richards is excited to add another big character to his squad for the upcoming season.
“We’re all delighted to have Bola with us next season. His ball carrying ability will be a real asset and he was outstanding against us for the Ospreys so we are very pleased to have a player of his quality and experience.
We’re proud to have a serviceman playing for us and hope that our links with the Army can continue for the benefit of both teams.”
