Inaugural Scottish Schools Reunion event

27th January 2014

Alumni from six Scottish schools attended the Club’s inaugural Scottish Schools Reunion event last Saturday before the B&I Cup clash with London Welsh.

Former pupils from Stewart’s Melville, Mary Erskine, Glasgow High School, St Aloysius, Marr College and Trinity Academy enjoyed pre-match hospitality in the Members’ Bar whilst catching up with old classmates.

London Scottish hope these school reunion events become a regular fixture in the calendar with the next lunch set for Sunday April 13th when Scottish take on Bedford Blues.

London Scottish’s Alumni Relations chairperson Brenda Roberts, said: “We aim to make this Club a home from home for all Scots in London and last weekend proves that match day at London Scottish is an ideal occasion for former classmates to come together.

“We are already in touch with a number of alumni offices as we look to build on the success of the first event.

“I would urge anyone interested in organising a reunion to look no further than our Scottish Schools match day events.”
