London Scottish Lions to Host Ladies Day

27th February 2026
admin

A full day of rugby, celebration and fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support

On Saturday 21 March, the Club will host its first ever Ladies Day – a celebration organised by a passionate group of women from within the London Scottish family to recognise and celebrate the women who support our players, teams and Club community.

Ladies Day is for everyone.
It will be a full day of rugby, community, fundraising and music at King’s House – open to members, supporters, families, friends and visitors, just as any other home matchday.

Within the day, there will be a special ticketed event:

The Ladies Day Social (Ladies Only)

The Ladies Day Social is the only ticketed part of the day and is exclusively for ladies. It runs from 12:00–14:30 in the top room of King’s House, and will be a standing reception style event with no seating.

Tickets are £35, and include:

  • A Ladies Day wristband – for your Ladies Day Drinks Offers
  • A welcome drink on arrival (12:00 arrival for 12:30 food)
  • Food served until approximately 14:00 in a standing reception style (no seating)
  • Live music upstairs from Avocado Guitar and Anna Bayne
  • Access to the Ladies Day Drinks Offers from midday until close (circa 23:00)

>>> Buy a Ladies Day Social ticket before the 13 March deadline.

The organisers would love to see women from across the entire London Scottish family attend – from the Champ side, the Lions, Minis and Juniors, to partners, family members, volunteers and our loyal regular supporters.

Dress code: Smart dress (weather appropriate).

Ladies who attend the Lunch are warmly encouraged to stay for the rugby and the evening festivities afterwards.

The Rugby

We have three Lions fixtures at home:

  • 13:00 – C Lions vs Hackney 2nd XV
  • 14:00 – Lions Bs vs London New Zealand
  • 15:00 – Lions vs Hammersmith & Fulham

Lions players playing in any of the three games will also receive a wristband granting them access to the Ladies Day Drinks Offers, as will opposition players. We would be delighted if visiting supporters joined us for the day, whether by purchasing a Ladies Day Social ticket (for ladies) or by staying to enjoy the rugby, raffle and evening music.

The Raffle – Raising Money for Macmillan Cancer Support

A huge part of Ladies Day is fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The raffle will take place after the final game (around 18:00, confirmation closer to the day). All raffle ticket proceeds will go directly to Macmillan.

We aim to raise lots of money for this incredible charity, whose work supporting people living with cancer – physically, emotionally and financially – makes a real difference to so many families.

We are currently securing some fantastic prizes, which will be announced in the coming weeks.

If you are able to donate a raffle prize, please contact a member of Club management.

Even if you are not attending the Ladies Day Social, you can still:

  • Support the rugby
  • Buy raffle tickets
  • Donate
  • Stay for the music and celebrations

The fundraising element is a major focus of the day, and we encourage everyone – especially those who cannot attend the Ladies Day Social – to get involved and help us support an amazing cause.

Evening Celebrations

Following the raffle, music will continue into the evening. There is also the possibility of MC Emson DJing later in the night (TBC).

The Ladies Day Drinks Offers will run from midday until King’s House closes (circa 23:00).
