London Scottish today announced it has entered into a three year extension of its sponsorship deal with Deutsche Bank that will run through to the end of the 2015 season.

London Scottish and Deutsche Bank, who have maintained a successful partnership since 2010, announced the new deal in conjunction with the kick off of the new season. Deutsche Bank will have its logo proudly displayed on the Club’s shirt as London Scottish competes in the Greene King IPA Championship and the British and Irish Cup. Deutsche Bank will also continue to be promoted at Richmond Athletic Ground, the home of London Scottish.

The investment bank’s extended support will help London Scottish continue on its incredible journey to the top of English club rugby. In addition both Deutsche Bank and London Scottish share the common goal of focussing on youth development and helping young people to fulfil their potential by developing confidence and aspirations. These are key elements for the partnership.

Deutsche Bank recently launched its new UK corporate citizenship programme, Born to Be, which is committed to tackling the critical issue of youth unemployment. The Bank aims to reach over 160,000 young people in the UK through Born to Be over the next four years. Under the Born to Be programme Deutsche Bank and London Scottish run Game Changers, an annual initiative using rugby as a vehicle to change young people's behaviour through a comprehensive sports and education programme.

Kenny Baillie, London Scottish Chief Executive said: “Deutsche Bank has been an incredibly loyal partner to London Scottish over the past three seasons having bought into the Club's long-term vision and goals. During this period the Club has consolidated a place in the second tier of English rugby after an epic rise through the leagues. We can now look forward to an exciting season ahead having assembled one of the strongest first team squads in years. I would like to thank Deutsche Bank again for their continued support as we continue on this exciting journey together.”

Colin Grassie, Deutsche Bank UK Chief Executive Officer said: “We are delighted to extend our successful partnership with London Scottish and help the club become sustainable for the long-term. Our commitment to London Scottish is also a commitment to addressing the needs of the local communities within which we work. Deutsche Bank is committed to mobilising disengaged young people into taking positive action through our partnership work with London Scottish and activities in the local community. We look forward to another successful three years both on and off the pitch.”
