Words From the Camp

We sat down with Joe Gray ahead of the visit of Cambridge to the RAG in a crunch Champ clash.

“Last Friday night was a frustrating one, we started the game really well and had some really good patches throughout the game. But to let that lead slip in the second forty was disappointing, we struggled to control territory and the penalty count went against us.

However, we know we aren’t far away, some little fix ups here and there, then we’ll be right back in the mix. Looking at Cambridge this weekend, we know the challenge ahead, they will be targeting this one so we have to be at our best, they come off the back of a good result against Doncaster so it’s going to be a big challenge.

In the Numbers

90% – Josh Bellamy has the highest kick percentage from the tee of anyone in the league, and ranks 4th for defenders beaten (44)

460m – Cambridge’s Ruaridh Dawson led the league in kicking metres last round.
