Tyrone Moran is looking forward to the final match of the British and Irish Cup Pool Stages, as the Scots head to Munster looking to secure a place in the quarter finals.

The Irish hooker played his first full 80 minutes for the Scots in the win over the Ospreys, and was delighted with the seven-try display.

“We were very pleased to get the win and for putting in a strong 80 minute performance against Ospreys Select.” Said Moran.

With Yorkshire Carnegie all-but confirmed as pool winners, Munster A and Scottish are battling it out for one of the best runners-up places which would take them through to the last eight.

“There is still plenty to build on for us going through to this weekend against Munster A. Both teams will be battling it out this weekend to take a place in the top 8 of the B&I cup so we are expecting the match to be another step up in intensity.”

The hooker says that the win has had a positive influence on the morale in the squad. “The mood at training is great with a high level of competition for a place in this weekend's team sheet as players are looking to impress.”

He added: “The discussion between the players is an element of excitement of knowing the level of physicality the Irish team will bring us on their home soil.”
