Director of Rugby Dave Morris is excited by the prospect of the Greene King IPA Championship opener against Yorkshire Carnegie a week on Saturday, with the start of the season drawing ever closer.

Morris says the Scots are in a good place with 11 days to go until the Athletic Ground hosts the first game of the new season.

“The work-ons are clear for us but everything is an opportunity and the guys have put the shirt on with pride during pre-season so we're in a good place heading in to Yorkshire.”
