Director of Rugby Dave Morris has named a 37-man squad to take on Rosslyn Park in tomorrow’s pre-season friendly at Priory Lane.

As many as 22 players could make their debuts for the club as preparations for the 2017/18 season continue after 10 weeks of training.

The format of the afternoon will see two 30-minute periods followed by a final section of 20 minutes, allowing both sides plenty of rotation to give all players as much game time as possible.

With an exciting squad now assembled there will be different starting line-ups for all three sections of the match, and the players will be looking to put their hands up for selection against Cardiff Blues next Saturday at the Athletic Ground.

Dave Morris says this fixture provides the perfect start to the pre-season fixtures:

“This is exactly the sort of challenge we need. It’s a local derby, we’re taking the entire squad to look at different combinations and we’ll find out a lot about our players.”

He added: “Rosslyn Park have some fantastic players so it’s a game we’re all looking forward to.”
