London Scottish U13s faced Battersea Ironside on Sunday for their 2nd round of the Surrey Waterfall Cup. Despite backline injuries and our Head Coach’s trip to Edinburgh (clearly a tough choice!), our team performed remarkably.

The game kicked off with an incredible pace, with quick hands, great pace on the wings, impeccable breakdown skills, and formidable mauling, we surged ahead to a 6-0 lead by halftime. Special mention goes to Devan, Alex A, Connor, and Eddie M, who secured six brilliant tries, including a hat trick from Eddie M!

Following WF Cup rules, we technically “won” by halftime, but both teams continued to play. Ironsides made a comeback in the competitive second half. It was a learning experience emphasising player development. All the boys on the pitch showed resilience and tactical skill throughout.

Special mention to Aleks, our Man of the Match, for his stellar performance in the scrum and rucks.
