Peter Lydon has been nominated for February’s Greene King IPA Championship player of the month award after playing a central role in Scottish’s 35 -3 win over Moseley.
Deployed at fly half, the former Stade Francais player kicked five successful conversions and scored a try for a total of 15 points, earning him the Man of the Match award.
Despite his club's position at the foot of the Championship, Plymouth Albion's Declan Cusak is named amongst this month's four nominees.
The Irishman proved instrumental in securing the Devon outfit's fourth home victory, slotting a penalty from 47 metres out to pick up a crucial win over relegation rivals Jersey.
The fullback had contributed an additional five points in his side's 18-17 victory at Brickfields.
Having started in all three February fixtures for the Championship newcomers, Doncaster Knights wing Dougie Flockhart picks up his second nomination after being included amongst the inaugural shortlist in September.
Currently topping the league's top points-scoring tally with 182, the Scottish flyer stays firm as one of the Championship's most consistent kickers.
The 30-year-old put an impressive 20 points on the board during the Knights' 30-13 victory over Cornish Pirates in February, including the final try of the match.
Worcester's Ryan Mills is also included amongst this month's nominees, which for the first time is made up entirely of backs.
The fly-half received deserved praise from Warriors Director of Rugby Dean Ryan after his classy performance against Rotherham; the club's 21st consecutive victory.
The former Gloucester back's skill in open play shone through in February, providing assists for three tries and scoring one of his own during Warriors 49-10 victory over the Titans.
