Head Coach Peter Richards spoke of his immense pride for the Scots following their first victory of the season on Saturday.

The Scots trailed 10-0 at the break after some ill-discipline was starving them of possession but came out firing in the second 40 minutes, and tries from Jamie Stevenson, Joe Atkinson, David Cherry, Patrick Kelly and Danny Kenny secured a bonus-point win. 

Richards said: “Pride is a powerful motivator and the players showed tremendous character in that second half. The performance across the board was great and there are some real positives to take from the victory.”
