London Scottish have named their team for the penultimate Greene King IPA Championship match of the season, when they head to face Ealing Trailfinders in tomorrow’s local derby.
The Scots have had two weeks since their last fixture against Bedford Blues so will head to Vallis Way looking for a positive return to action with just two matches remaining.
The starting line-up features nine changes from the last outing, Grant Shiells, Dan Koroi and Ewan McQuillin start in the front-row, with Dom McGeekie and Alex Woolford in the second-row. Matt Marley, Joe Atkinson and Dave Sisi will operate in the back-row.
Ed Hoadley returns from suspension at scrum-half and is joined by Harry Sheppard at fly-half, whilst Tom Galbraith will partner captain Robbie Fergusson in the centre. Jason Harries, Ben Rath and Craig Holland make up the back-three.
Michael Liness, Jonny Harris and Phil Cringle offer a front-row alternative, whilst plenty of attacking options of Alec Coombes, Josh Barton, George Cullen and Peter Lydon make up the rest of the bench.
Robbie Fergusson says that the emphasis for the last two matches is to finish the season on a high, starting against Ealing tomorrow.
“They’ve had some big results so we know that we’re in for a big test. We had a huge win against them last time out and with the good weather both teams like moving the ball so it’s an exciting challenge.”
