London Scottish will kick-off the 2015/16 Greene King IPA Championship season with a home fixture against Moseley on Friday, September 4, 7.45pm kick-off.

The match will be played on a Friday due to the closure of the A316 between Hospital Bridge Roundabout and London Road on Saturday, September 5 (from 11.30am to 6.30pm) when England play Ireland at Twickenham Stadium, 2.30pm kick-off.

The Moseley match is followed by a local derby at Vallis Way against newly promoted Ealing Trailfinders on Saturday, September 12, 3pm kick-off, before the Scots are back at Richmond Athletic Ground for the visit of Bedford Blues on Saturday, September 19, 2.30pm kick-off.

The first Exiles clash of the new season against London Welsh will be at the Athletic Ground on Saturday, October 3, 2.30pm kick-off.

London Scottish head coach Peter Richards said: “It’s always pleasing to kick-off the season with a home fixture and I’m looking forward to the Moseley game already.

“The weather should be good and after a long pre-season everybody will be desperate to get the league campaign up and running.

“Ealing Trailfinders have recruited strongly over the summer and I expect them to start the season with a bang and we had two really good fixtures against Bedford Blues last season so that should be one for the fans to look forward to as well as our match against London Welsh in Round Five.”
