London Scottish is pleased to confirm the signing of winger Nick Scott for the 2017/18 season.
The 27-year-old will head to the Athletic Ground after spells with the likes of Bath, Newport Gwent Dragons and London Welsh where he accumulated plenty of Premiership experience.
Scott’s most recent club was Sale Sharks in the Aviva Premiership, and he will now join London Scottish whilst he combines rugby with work. The winger will train full-time while Board Member Angus Stewart continues to explore options alongside the careers team at the club as he looks to make the transition to a career outside of the sport.
The 6ft 1” back is excited for the upcoming campaign: “I'm delighted to be joining Scottish for the coming season. I'm looking forward to meeting up with all the players and staff and helping contribute to a successful season for the club.”
Director of Rugby Dave Morris is delighted to have signed a player of his experience.
“Nick is a player of proven pedigree and has good experiences behind him in the Premiership and Pro 12. He will add quality and experience to an already very exciting group of backs. Nick’s aspirations to transition in to a career in the city alongside his rugby is one we are fully bought in to as a club and are working closely with Nick to help make a reality.”
