Scottish Supporter Wins 23rd Man Experience To Jersey Away Match

19th July 2013

The first of our Early Bird Membership prizes for the 2013/14 season has been drawn at the Richmond Athletic Ground, with the help of captain Mark Bright and new signing Neil Best.

London Scottish is delighted to reveal the winning supporter in the draw for the 23rd Man Experience for our away fixture with Jersey in the 2013/14 Greene King IPA Championship season.

In a draw taking place alongside the main grandstand at the Athletic Ground, back-rowers Bright and Best picked the name out of the bag from all supporters who had signed up for Early Bird Membership for the 2013/14 season.

The lucky winner of the 23rd Man Experience for our away fixture to Jersey is James Stokes. James will accompany the team on their visit to Jersey in April 2014 and will get a close look at the way the team operates on an away match day. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be a part of the Scottish team and to get a behind the scenes looks at the effort that goes into the preparing the team for a match.

Bright: “The winner of the 23rd Man Experience will get a great chance to be a part of the squad and to experience what it’s like to be part of a matchday. They will travel with us from London across to Jersey and see how we prepare for what will certainly be an exciting game of rugby.”

Stokes was delighted to have won and is very much looking forward to his chance to go behind the scenes with Scottish on a match day.

Stokes: “I’m extremely thrilled to have been picked. All London Scottish supporters would jump at the opportunity to see how the team gets to work behind the scenes on matchdays and hopefully I can be something of a good luck charm for the boys on the day!”
